Hakata Japanese Restaurant provide an extensive array of Sashimi, Sushi, Domburimono, Tempura, Sukiyaki, Shabu Shabu, Yakitori, Udon, Soba and Ramen. All fish objects are air flown in four times a week from Fukuoka and Tokyo to ensure optimum freshness for consumption. To compliment your meal, we additionally serve a variety of wines, shochu, hot and chilly sake.

Premium Sushi (SDG24++) consisted of the Botan Ebi, Hirame (flounder)and Kanpachi (amberjack). We felt that the flavors of the seafood was muted and the ebi was a tad slimy. The Nagasaki Sara Udon (SDG16++) was an attention-grabbing dish with deep-fried skinny noodles topped with seafood, pork, blended vegetables and gravy. The gravy was mellow in taste and was comforting with every spoon of slightly chewy noodles. A good dish for a rainy day and we might positively say that it will fit into the comfort meals category.

This is a must-eat in Singapore, and considered one of Singapore’s well-known foods. It’s not cheap after all, however it’s one thing we eat for celebrations or special occasions like Chinese language New Year.
