Legendary striker «Spartak» Alexander Orlov died at the age of 68 after a long illness, sportsnews.bcsport.com.ua informs the press service of the club.
«Hockey club» Spartak «Moscow mourns and brings condolences to the family and friends of Alexander Alexandrovich Orlov,» – said in the message.
A bunch of twin brothers Alexander and baggysport.com.ua Igor Orlov played for Spartak from 1980 to 1985.
Alexander Orlov became the silver medalist of the USSR championship four times. He was a member of the USSR national team, participated in international matches in Canada and Europe.
He played 199 matches for Spartak in the USSR championships, gaining 156 (52 + 104) points.
