Allegations of the involvement of a third Russian in the poisoning of former GRU officer Sergei Skripal and his daughter Yulia in Salisbury in 2018 are false. So the information was commented on by the director of the Foreign Intelligence Service (SVR) Sergei Naryshkin, https://cults3d.com RIA Novosti reports.
«In my opinion, this is an attempt to cover up or support the previous lie with another lie,» he said.
According to Naryshkin, such statements are another attempt to divert attention from NATO’s «shameful flight» from Afghanistan and from the fact that the alliance «is simply no longer able to maintain security in this or that region of the world.»
On September 21, British police accused a third Russian of the Skripal poisoning, pointing to GRU General Denis Sergeev, who allegedly used the pseudonym Sergei Fedotov. According to the British side, he commanded two other GRU officers. The Crown Prosecutor’s Office has brought the same charges against him as against the other two suspects – attempted murder, grievous bodily harm to police officer Nick Bailey, and the use of chemical weapons.
